Reluctant Sale, Z4 with Hardtop

Hi,

Due to a personal injury, (lower back - 3 x prolapsed disc's - ouch!), I very reluctantly now accept that I have to sell my pride and joy.

:(

I have a BMW Z4, 2.5SE.

2003 Plate - In black, with leather trim, heated seats etc...

The car comes with a hardtop and with large schnitzer style alloys.

It is a real head turner, especially in winter with the hard top on - BATMOBILE!

I have had the car since new.

It is only driven at the weekends,

It is valeted every other month.

It is always garaged.

Roadtax, MOT and FSH.

Mileage is just 29'000

I would rather sell the car to an enthusiast that will appreciate the care that I have put into the car, than advertise the car in the press and get 'tyre kickers' wasting my time.

This is a 100% genunie car, by far the best around.

I am based in Warrington, near Manchester.

Text me for further details on 07973-43-18-18

Thanks.

Many people use our forum as free advertising tool. The seller wasn't even bothered to put any pictures.

Hi ksher,

Actually, since I put the thread up, I was just looking through my laptop for pics of the car, to post some photo's.

On this machine though, all of the pics are just of my children, family holidays etc.

As I said in the earlier post. It is a reluctant sale - which means not a thought through, planned, hit the websites sales promo!

:D

Literally, I only thought about an hour ago that I would drop a thread onto this forum and see if there is any response, because when I came across the forum I thought... if I have to sell the car, then I would rather let it go to an enthusiast.

I will have to take the car out of the garage at the weekend and take some pics, then upload them.

In the meantime...

... if anyone is close enough in distance and would like to come and see the car please text me.

Thanks.

PS - great avatar!

I'd stick with it if its just down to your back - I also have 2 prolapsed discs in my neck C5-C7 (one bulged, one fully prolapsed) which delivers constant 24 hour pain, although the weekly physio and pilates classes are helping

This was the reason why i bought the z4, to get some enjoyment from my drive to work and back.

Either way good luck with the sale - but yes, pics would help

I really can't see a problem with him putting the car for sale here, he's had it for several years so presumably is/was an enthusiast. Sounds like it maybe a nice car for somebody looking for a car of that model and age.

Good luck with the sale.

It's generally considered wrong on forums to join just to sell items, with that privledge being for existing members. In this case and enthusiast and owner for 7 years only here on the day he decides to sell.

That said I wish the seller good luck with the sale

A price would be helpful

Not seen many enthousiasts about cars that only join after 7 years when it is time to sell ...

If it was the loathsome Arnold Clark or some Arthur Daily type then yes I can see a problem, but this guy appears to be sincere, so Forum etiquette aside, whatever that is!, I still don't see a valid objection.
pvr, "Not seen many enthousiasts about cars that only join after 7 years when it is time to sell ...". I think if you keep and look after a car for 7 years you have every right to claim to to be an enthusiast, not everybody wants to express their enthusiasm by joining an internet club.
No offence intended to anybody, just my thoughts.

|'d agree with this, for all that's worth (I think I'm just about into double figures for posts myself)

However, if the OP could provide pictures and an asking price then I suspect his sale would go better. :poke:
