Hi all,
I recently bought a E85 which unfortunately suffered from the usual roof issue. I used the wonderful guides on here and a web directory containing every PDF from shipkillers old website to successfully get the motor housing into the boot where I discovered it was half full of water and the drain completely clogged up. I then discovered that a hydraulic line on the drivers side had rusted where it had been sat in water and was spewing out fluid whenever the roof was operated, resulting in no movement of the roof.
I took the roof off by myself which was pretty straight forward and replaced all of the lines with a kit from cabriolet-roof-hoses. I am now trying to put the roof back on but i'm struggling to get the wiring routed correctly and I can't seem to get the roof slotted into the clips.
Is anyone is the Berkshire area (Windsor) that could give me a hand for some £££? My last option is to take it to a specialist but I know they will charge a stupid amount even though most of the work is done.
p.s. does anyone know the torque setting for the banjo bolts on the roof motor?
