Refurb recommendations please

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a top class wheel refurb place within these areas, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, Stockport and Manchester, Notts. I'm happy to travel and pay for a top job, chemical strip, slight scuff repair, looking like new. I don't want a quick blow over botch, it needs to be A1.

I used F1 Alloys, just North of Chester, for refurbing a badly corroded and heavily kerbed set of 107s recently and the results are very good. They chemically strip, sand blast, repair and the paint / bake to a colour of your choice. Cost is £375 plus VAT which includes painting hubs and calipers and the free use of a loan car until the job is finished.

I have used loads over the years

The only people i have ever been happy with is the "wheel specialist"..

Not the cheapest but the wheels are perfect every time.

Happy to pay good money for a good job Gaz, where are they based?
 
The one nearest to me is toward Manchester...

They do have various depots though..

Also Prestige wheels in Furness Vale are top class...Maybe a little closer ?

Furness Vale is closet by some margin so naturally that's the starting point, cheers Gaz, much appreciated. :)
 
Prestige are a proper outfit John.

They do all my mates Porsche wheels,and the finish is superb.

Gaz sorry to put you on the spot, I'm looking at both sites, if you had to choose which place would you use? Or is there nowt in it in your opinion?
