Refuelling dilemma

Thought this could be interesting...

I have an indicated 5 miles of fuel left in my Audi A6 TDI. Do I:

- Drive to Morrisons which is 2 miles away but diesel is 128.9
- Drive to Tesco which is 8 miles away (and on my way home), where diesel is 123.9
- Say sod it and drive home (12 miles) and take the Z4 to work tomorrow?

Go to Morrison's put in a couple of quid, then drive to wherever is cheapest :D

You have WAY too much spare time to be focused so much on this 1st world problem!

No - just avoiding doing any work

So what did you do in the end?

I'd have done a splash and dash with the tractor and used the Z4! :)

I braved it and went to Tesco - short shifting and being very light on acceleration - got nearly 49mpg!
