Will it fit a 2006 standard Business Cd/Radio head - without external Cd changer and DSP etc. ?

It should do, check on the dice site to be sure.

You sound like you have the same set up as me I had no cd changer but the wiring for it is there and standard business radio cd.

I don't know if wiring is there, shall check tomorrow. I imagine that if there is no wiring loom for cruise control on a facelift Z4 , there is the possibility that there is no loom for a Cd changer, if not factory fitted.

No problem - I'm sure i was advised it was nearly always there but you never know - other 2006 owners maybe able to help...

Take a look in the boot and pull up the carpet covering the back and you should find 2 wire connectors in the middle of a big gap.

All UK cars have CD changer pre wired. If it's a facelift car then DSP is analogue so no adapter required.
 
If the sale falls through for the MediaBridge, give me a shout. Otherwise, enjoy your new toy, ASW28!

Hi,

As far as I can see on the forum people with 2006 and 07 cars have had the sound generator fitted, it comes standard on the 3.0 model but I cannot guarantee these are the right parts for a face lift model, try searching around the forum someone with the face lift maybe able to help.
