Hi again,

This is back up for sale after I received a deposit on it 7 weeks ago, but the chap decided it wasn't financially viable for him to go through with the purchase at this moment in time. I was going to keep it, but my son is now over in Scarborough and I'm making quite a few trips there so could do with something more boring and sensible... Here's the blurb:

Well the time has come for me to sell my zed. Reason: my son has just started at private school and I could do with releasing a bit of cash from my car.

A bit about the car: I bought it in July 2012 after spending months tracking down a zed with the high spec I wanted and found this beauty. It's titanium silver with black leather with 53000 miles and has never missed a beat!
I like to keep my zed clean, and handwash it most weeks using dodo juice products and their awesome wooky fist wool mit!
It's got an awesome spec with loads of little toys to keep you entertained:

Pro Sat Nav
Black leather heated electric m sport seats with memory function
Bluetooth phone prep
Bi-xenon headlights with angel eyes
Multi function Steering wheel
Cruise control
Climate control
6 cd changer
iPod dock connected to Sat Nav screen
Stubby aerial
Auto wipers/lights
Folding wing mirrors
Cup holders
Gaptech roof module (opens/closes roof with remote and one touch opening/closing from the car)
MV2 alloys - not curbed but do have a couple of tiny marks. All good non runflat tyres.
Sound generator mod - 1 small sponge piece removed to hear the gorgeous straight six engine purr a bit more. I've retained the sponge piece.

Overall the car is in very good condition with the odd stone chip on the front but nothing that a car of this age shouldn't have!

It's got FSH, having recently been serviced and next service is in 12000 miles. I had the passenger window regulator replaced in July.
It will have 12 months MOT (not due til end of oct) and tax til end of October.
It has 2 scratches on the front bumper from a cyclist falling into my car as he weaved through stand still traffic, then rode off. It's never bothered me to get them repaired, and they certainly don't detract from what is a stunning car.
I'm having trouble with the Sat Nav screen at the moment, but this will be sorted once I source another screen (or factored into the price) for my indi to fit, I'd just rather be honest.

PM me for any more info - I've probably missed something out!

£8995

I could be interested in a part ex/swap for a smallish sporty hatchback (A3, 1 series, MINI, Golf).

Thanks for looking!

Great price winny

Mine is almost identical spec and was £3k more than that two years ago with 59k miles on the clock.

Good luck, shame you have to sell but it's for a good cause.

Thank you! I was beginning to wonder if I had it at a decent price, but I've not advertised it anywhere else yet. I guess I need to get round to advertising it. Where do people think is best for Zed's? Pistonheads? Ebay?

I've always had most success selling via autotrader. That said, when I was buying #69 I was looking on Pistonheads which is where I found her.

Winny that's a great spec and price. I think if you were selling in spring it would get snapped up.

Someone will come along soon and gladly take it off your hands I'm sure. Good luck.

I actually went to see this car before I bought mine and I will confirm it is a superb example in fantastic condition and really well loved by winny it drove beautifully and I absolutely loved it, the only reason it isn't sat on my drive now is at that time we couldn't agree a price : ) If it had been the price it is now when I saw it I would have bought it as in my opinion this car is a great price especially with the spec it has on it. So anyone wanting a facelift 3.0si I suggest you act fast as I don't think this will be around long.

Andy

Thanks Andy... :) I guess I could wait until the spring time to sell if I don't get interest on here, I'm not going to be putting many miles on it from now til then.

Well done winny it is a cracking car and I know you will miss it but the new owner will be chuffed to bits with it, I drove mine today from York to near you which was Stockton on tees I had the top down both ways in the sunshine and it was superb :)
