Red over clear on rear lights-

Hi all -i saw a car on here the other day where it had been half and half all red and one side normal(post face lift)-fancied having a go on my monaco blue one -is it just a roll of film over the clear part or is there more to it?-if so is it a fleabay job?-thanks

you can try the red film, if there is not much curvature to that part of the light. (film needs a fairly flat surface to adhere properly)

otherwise you can use transparent red spray paint (which is how I created my 4 white spot tail lights).

Being completely useless at anything DIY I decided to try pre cut stickers from these guys (http://www.lamin-x.com/BMW-Z4-03-05-Tail-Light-Covers-p/b609.htm). Everything arrived with the kit, including a little spray bottle to help when putting them on. Very good quality item. I went for the lightest tint and am very happy with the result. It's dark enough to remove the very orange of the indicators but not so dark that it looks like a boy racer.
