After a short trip tonight I've decided I need one......to cut a long story short the end of my street joins a very busy road through Edinburgh City Centre and for years the road markings have been almost non existent due to people heading north making their side of the road 'two' lanes. If your unfortunate to be trying to get out you might get hit by someone on the wrong side which has happened to others or if your trying to turn in sat in the correct position in the road you might get a car head on in front of you.
The latter happened this evening and after parking up as crossing over the road to ask the driver if he was aware he was on the wrong side of the road, he was actually driving down the wrong side of the road on the adjacent street he was very apologetic. However when I pointed out I wasn't talking about the Manoeuver he had just made and asked him politely if he care to either walk to the end of the road or next time maybe look at the markings I was told 'oh you were in that small bmw, well that's says it all. I was not on the wrong side' however if I had been any further left I would of been on the pavement and in a bus shelter.......and I still had to go round him! Clearly drives like that all the time and is now so used to doing it. He gave me some bull about thinking it was a one way street too even through his on street parking permit was for this area.
I've once again filed a report with he council but as usual nothing will come of it.
So as I'm sick to death of it now and before I know it someone will probably hit me I've decided that I need a dash cam. So as quite a few of you lovely people have them, can anyone give me any suggestions. Price is not a factor in it. Just want something that I can use with good quality images. I've looked on line and it's a minefield!!!

I had been searching the in lounge. Knew there would be something on it. I would of though a topic like that should be in the lounge seen as it technically not model specific
, just need to be careful and watch out for the fakes though.
