Recently acquired 2003 Z4 Roadster

Hi all,

I've been lurking on the forum for a bit, while looking for a Z4 and for info since getting her.

Predominately for my girlfriend as a short commuter and then for us to have fun at the weekends in, replaced a Nissan Micra 1.2!

She's a 3.0i with little in the way of spec really, but that is something that we should be changing in the future.

Spent today giving her a good going over with AG clay, SRP and HD wax followed by leather feed using Gliptone and a hood clean.

Was getting dark by the time I finished as you can see.

@gallaghb the first clean is always the most fun!

@ZeeFore I had a day off work, I wasn't supposed to be cleaning the Z4, so don't worry I, feel guilty too and I still have what I was supposed to be doing to get done!

I wondered this also, but it's hpi checked out okay, so not officially been in an accident. There is nothing in the history about headlights.

Perhaps it had aftermarket of ones fitted at some point or were replaced due to discolouration/crazing in the plastic as mot fail.

Maybe something like that?
