Recent impulse purchase

Hi all

A recent impulse buy has seen me venture into z4 ownership. Having driven around in a transit van for the last 5 years a new job and change of lifestyle meant I could buy a 'fun' car for the weekend. Never really considered a z4 and actually went to look at something else, the z4 was sitting next to it and next thing I knew I owned it.

It needs a few thing fixing on it as excepted for a car this age but so far I've been pretty impressed with it. The previous owners have made a few interesting mods which will need to be rectified but noting too tricky.

I'm sure I'll be on here with loads of questions as and when they arise but for now that's all.

Hi And welcome
Pic with first post as well
Any more details re spec

Welcome to the forum OP.

Bonus points for a photo in your first post too!

Now you are here you'll probably be planning mods of your own soon.

Spec would help, it's a 3.0i, 6 speed with a red leather interior.

It has m badges stuck all over it including on the key so a little bit of patience and time will help with that, not too keen on the black rims to be honest, whilst they are in mighty good nick I'm still not 100% convinced and think it would look better with bigger silver wheels.

The boot was a surprise to be honest, much bigger than expected.

Hi and welcome. :D

I’m sure those daisies will be replaced once you’ve seen a few 18” alternatives. Stubby would be a good mod also if not already fitted.

Welcome aboard  If I'm not mistaken we are in the same village (don't want to say too much on line) :D

Welcome to the forum, there is a Z4M and an 3.0si in your village if you need any bits
We are having a Z4 meet this Saturday at the Ace cafe in London, planning on 40 cars, if you want to attend there are a couple of places left. There is a thread on here.

Thanks for the warm welcome, if I wasn't off to a classic show on Saturday in Northampton I'd take a drive down to the ace, this was actually purchased just around the corner from there. I'll join you on the next.
