Since I got my new hyd ramps Ive been a busy bee, access on underside has been made so easy, after removing cover plates under car it was easy to do a bit of wax oiling, things were in good condition because of the covers keeping the crap away, was able to check all fastenings and identify all the workings. The covers are light and flimsy, I would say they were there for aero dynamics and protection of components behind them as BMW calling a couple of them reinforcing plates i fail to see as material is no thicker than the walls of a french letter. Couple of pics showing before and after i removed CDV which was straight forward job and well worth doing. Garage is long, narrow and water tight, not the ideal but better than none. Have you got any more info on the ramps themselves Baz? I know it'll be a bit late for Xmas but, if you have a mo, I'd like to know how they go up (pump?), how far up they go, good stability(?), maybe just post us a link will be easier as I don't want to ask you the cost... Thanks

Hi guys yes the ramps really are awesome, they are very well made and stable and low enough to drive on with the Zed without interfering with the bodywork back or front, model no. is cr01 900kg when raised the bottom of tyre is 16 inches from ground. The ramps are connected to a single foot pump and up she goes, when fully raised two lock levers are flipped into place and the hydraulics can be relaxed and the foot pump can be removed altogether leaving ramps locked in place. instructions for use are simple enough. the clearance you get is great.

Actually, whilst they are not cheap, they're not as much as I expected. Damn. The list gets longer. Again.
