Hello,
My rear window defroster isn’t working. I started by checking fuses 20 and 25, and they’re both fine. Then I measured the circuit with an ohmmeter at the window connector — continuity is okay, so the window element isn’t broken.
However, when I tried to measure voltage on the tab (the cable from the car that connects to the window), there was no voltage. I then measured at the connector behind the passenger seat (LHD) to check if the cable might be broken in the roof, but I also didn’t get any voltage there.
I also tried connecting the defroster tab for the hardtop (on a separate connector behind the seat), but still no voltage.
Additionally, my left side mirror doesn’t heat up either — no voltage on its cables. The right mirror works fine.
Can anyone suggest what I should check next?
Thanks!
