Rear springs

Hi, When I jacked my Z up to check whether the drainage holes for the hood were clear, I observed that the springs were very rusty and crumbly looking, they were still intact (not fractured) I would rather have them changed.
I intend to clean the bottom of the car (including axle, diff etc etc) then rust proofed and painted.
Any recommendations to which companies springs are the best and most of all cost effective.
Also any recommendations as to the underneath paint, Hammerite black? or something else.
Rgds,

The rear springs are very easy to change on these, just jack the rear up and lever the lower arm down..the spring almost falls out.
There are so many types of rust proofing you can use now days, do you rad Practical classics ?

A few months back during the summer months, before I had my Z, I saw a guy in his front yard with his Silver Z backed onto ramps and painting his axle, diff and other hardware red! :-o :-o.
Had a neighbourly chat with him, turns out he is an airline pilot. Didnt question him on his choice of scarlet red
