Rear shock top mount

Hi!
A couple of weeks ago I heard a bit of a bang from the rear and then a nasty metal noise. I took car to BMW under the AUC and got the rear shock top mount replaced. This evening, its gone again, same side and at almost exactly the same piece of road where it originally went. The piece of road is quite rough.

No doubt BMW will replace the part again but do you guys know if there is anything else that might cause the top mount to split so quickly after being replaced or do you think its probably just a dodgy part?

You can fit a support piece to add strength. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=848575

I would think they were not properly fitted for a new one to go so quickly. Something to do with the order of washers or something.
