Rear shock absorber replacement

Hi folks, looking to replace the rear shock absorbers on my E86 3.0Si with ‘sport’ suspension. Was originally thinking about Bilstein B4’s via autodoc, but worried these will make the car sit slightly higher, as per some comments I’ve read on this forum and the website also stating that they’re replacements for ‘standard’ suspension. Can’t really find the appropriate Sachs shocks either without going through official BMW dealers and paying crazy money.
Any thoughts on the B4’s and/or where to find Sachs shocks outwith the BMW network? Thanks.

Also look into Koni or the shocks from TC-Kline (which are Koni and 'adjustable'). If you get the TCKline ones you'll need an aftermarket rear-shock-mount (i.e. Rogue) because TCKline ones are 'top adjustable' but the adjuster has a thicker diameter than factory mount. The Koni Yellow (Sport) fronts are adjustable and the Koni Yellow rears are adjustable if you're willing to remove the wheels.

I put Koni sport (yellow) front + TCKline rear adjustable on my 3.0si and very happy with them.

I have an E85 and want to replace the rear shock absorbers. Can I install the Bilstein 19103150 shocks meant for the E46? Can I reuse the dust boot and bump stop from the E85?
