Rear height difference left & right.

I've noticed the rear Passenger side tire to arch distance/gap is about 8-10mm difference?
It's not a broken spring, I replaced both rears about 4months ago, I took them off today and inspected them and they sit the same height as each other? Both rear tires are identical I have also considered that maybe it's right but the drivers side might actually be too low, maybe but I think this is right.

Has anyone else come across this before or know what else could effect ride hight?

I'm sure I've read something to say this is normal.

I had a spring snap, and got a new pair of springs on the rear. One side was higher than the other, so I ended up fitting lowering springs :evil:

I'm glad it's not just me then.
Surely if this was the case it would make the car really unstable at speed.

Iirc mine is 10mm higher on driver side rear - i assume by time driver sits in it will be even weight distribution.

Ditto. Front and rear. Still is slightly, more at the front. But when I had my springs fitted the chap said the rubber pads the springs sit on were quite worn and he replaced them. He also put a thicker one one the front driver side. There is a tolerance they work to when comparing ride heights across the car, which mine is within. Perhaps the pads are worn on the lower side ?

'TIS states the standards with 18" wheels with sports suspension are 602mm (front) and 588mm (rear) for E85. The height is measured from the lower flange of wheel (not the ground) to lower edge of wheel arch, with 2x68kg at the seats, 14kg in the boot and full tank of fuel. The difference between left and right should not be greater than 10mm.'
