Rear drop links oem replacement confusion E86 3.0 Si

Good morning ( just )

Can anyone who has replaced the rear drop links on a E86 3.0 Si or can help in anyway please let me know if the following item is correct for this vehicle . The part I have been sent has the oem number of 33 55 1 094 619 but on the real oem site it says this is for the E46 only and that the oem number for the 3.0 Si is 33552283743 . The supplier on ebay has over 100,000 100% feedback on car parts so is well respected and they are saying that they have always supplied this Meyle item ( 316 060 4610 ) as a replacement for the 3.0 Si .

Any thoughts ?

Doesn't look right. Found the Meyle catalogue here and it doesn't show that part (316 060 4610) fitting the E86, only various (non M) E46 models.

Searching Meyle's catalogue for the E86 BMW part number doesn't find a Meyle equivalent.

RealOEM shows the E86 part is also used on the E46 M3.

Thanks E86 . That is also a concern that Meyle doesn`t show an equivalent and seems to back up my concerns . I will ask to return them and get the Lemforder replacements .

I got the lemforder ones when I did mine (also 3.0Si sport) managed to do it by taking off the roll bar ‘D’ carriers just to drop the bar but didn’t need to take the entire bar off. Then refit the drop link through the wheel arch. A bit fiddly but far easier than taking the entire roll bar off.

Front one is a piece of piss

Rear is......... well............ not so much.

I`ve done the same now . I got a refund on the Meyle drops and ordered the Lemforder ones . I shall be replacing all the shocks and roll bars at the same time as the drop links ( adjustable fronts ) so should be fun Definitely not project less !!
