Rear diff refurbished

Hi Guys
I have a 2006 2.5 manual E85
The rear diff is making a humming noise, and could do with a bit of love.
What is my best option
Take it off the car and send it to be refurbished?
Buy one already refurbished?
Or
Buy a second hand one?
Do you have any recommendations in the South Wales area

Personally I would send yours of and have it refurbished

I would source a used one, and have it delivered to your chosen refurbisher unless it's local enough for your to collect and deliver. Then fit to your car. That way, you not stuck with a car you cannot move.
