Rear demister

My rear screen doesn't fully clear sometimes when using the demister, has anybody else suffered from this?

Mine takes ages to clear, all the wires are working it just takes for ever. I did a very unscientific straw poll of the other 2 Zeds in my cul de sac and found they all have the same problem (or design feature) so I stopped thinking about it after that.

Then that is perfectly normal.

Small volume of air in the cabin and unless you have aircon on or a window ajar, then it has to condense somewhere with little air movement

I'm still not sure how to fix the broken wires. I've asked around, most seem unwilling to touch it.

I saw something like a touch-up pen. You paint the broken part of the wire with liquid metal, then it will work again.

I wonder if that magical stuff you can rub on the inside of your motorcycle helmet visor to stop it misting up would work on the rear window? :?
