Rear aero apron

 Geordie exiled in Wales...
Given that the OEM carbon diffuser is no longer available :headbang:

Has anyone fitted one of the aero rear aprons to their zed? I've had a look on the search but can't seem to find a good photo see what they look like in detail... can anyone help by posting up some pics? Or are there already some tucked away somewhere on the forum that I've missed... :oops:
 
There has definitely been a few pics on here with cars that have the apron fitted. I think they look bloody awful but you may be to differ!

I probably agree with you... I just wanted to make sure with some better pics... plus I can't really run to £1200 for an M Bumper, facelift lights and quad exhaust at the moment....

Thanks for that... and I've just spotted a decent pic of a grey one on one of his threads... as I suspected, not for me. Oh well. Back to Plan 'A'. Sell a kidney and look for a good used M bumper...
 
It looks okay square-on, but from the side angles it just seems a little awkward. Like I said, it's just not for me... :)
 
I also think it looks a tad crap, especially from the side - however, i have never seen one that has been fitted to a quad - maybe it would look better?
 
I wish I knew why BMW discontinued the CF diffuser... looked so much better IMO...I've got a pre-facelift and facelift rear bumper - both with PDC holes - waiting to go on. Would have liked a diffuser to go with the facelift bumper...
 
The car I just bought, has it too :)
I kinda like it :P
