Ready-mixed screenwash

Halfords do two types of screenwash - Ready-mixed and concentrate. If both are good for -10 when used neat then surely that means they will be equal when diluted. So is there any point in paying 50p more for the concentrate? Am I missing something?

I always buy the ready-mixed. I hadn't noticed it was cheaper. I guess that when the weather gets warmer the advantage of concentrate is that you can dilute it more?

Last time I was in Halfords, they had some "berry fragranced" screen wash. Somehow I managed to resist!

Always bought concentrate from Halfords cause you can make up to about 20 litres from the 2 litre bottle and its still usable at low temps.

As above. Cheaper to buy the concentrate stuff and dilute it. That way you get much much more for your money.

Concentrate is good for -10 when diluted (and probably melts Tarmac undiluted :P ); pre-mixed is good for -10 as it comes and is probably totally useless if diluted.

I've also heard that non BM stuff can clog but my issue with it is that it's £5/litre and doesn't give you an idea of dilution temps. What concentrates are you guys using to get -10 diluted.
My original question though was if I buy 'concentrate' that is good for -10 at 100% (i.e. undiluted) and ready-mixed which is also good for -10 at 100% is there any difference. I used to get double concentrate from Halfords but they don't seem to do it anymore. The -10 seems the best value to me as the -20 stuff is only good for -2.5 at the ratio I use vs -1.5 for the -10 stuff (1:4 / 20% for both).

I think the clogging issue is more mixing different types together. There are posts around showing the filter getting clogged with "gunge" and a tech once told me about it too, but I haven't seen it first hand. I stick to the BM stuff just because I like the smell

why would it clog with gunge?
Car techs usually arent the brightest at chemistry imho
