Rattle... from boot area

Hi, i (and probably most roadster owners) have a rattle coming from what i can only describe as the plastic shelving in the boot where the roof folds down onto...

It has always been there and it probably applies to all roadster owners when you drive on an uneven surface...

I was wondering if anyone has come up with any possible solution that helps eliminate some or all of this rattle, thanks in advance...
 
Not sure if the same rattle, but I found the bits that support the "shelf" when in the down position are a plastic-to-plastic contact. I figured out my "shelf" was rattling as I could recreate the same rattle sound by playing around with the shelf position knobs. I stuck some very thin felt onto one of the surfaces. Also, the "shelf" has a plastic edge on the rearmost edge: on mine it was a bit of a loose fit onto the actual "shelf" material, so I packed that out a bit again using thin felt.

Now, if someone could let me know how to stop my air vents rattling (the ones above where cupholders go) and my wind deflector (that's a new rattle for me) I'd be happy!

Cheers a11y for the suggestions, I'm constantly on the 'hear-out' for any rattles, my solution is to turn the music up...
 
Small strips of the fuzzy bit from a velcro strip are your friend. Sorted my wind deflector using such a method. Otherwise it's simply trial and error...I do wish they were a bit more solid, my (older) Audi never had these problems. Mechanically however it was a nightmare, unlike the zed!
 
That is so spooky. Just last weekend I was complaining to the missus that there was a rattle coming from just behind her that was driving me insane. It's been getting progressively noisier in recent weeks.

She couldn't locate the rattle for about an hour whilst I was driving, twisting and turning in her seat holding areas of the rear shelving and the roof lining where it meets the bodywork. It was an interesting sight. :D

We eventually located the rattle, as already mentioned, as plastic on plastic just behind the passenger seat. I'm going to try and resolve ASAP.

Will post again if I am successful...
