Last update (I hope). I was totally wrong about the coding of the DRLs. I'm sure I read that you must enable DRL 1/2 and DRL 2/2, and then select what you want to run as DRL - in my case I selected sidelights (Angel Eyes). What I got was the AE's plus the headlights and tail lights.
Tonight I disabled the 'Daytime Running Lights 1/2' and '2/2' and he presto the headlights and tail lights went off, but the AE's stayed on. Just what I wanted. Happy camper
