RainX Glass Cleaner and Protector

I've used rain x but i find that the effect doesn't last long. Now I treat any new car I buy tohttp://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engin...ants/gtechniq-glass-sealant-kit/prod_911.html it claims to last 20,000 miles and in my experience it achieves pretty close to that.

I use Gtechniq's G5, better water repellence but doesn't last as long (still lasts up to 6 months!).

Ive never been to impressed with rain x. Either it's application or the results/longevity. But nothings as bad as there anti fog/mist stuff, that's god awful in every way!

Seems to be a trend of late, this thread revival business. Not that I'm complaining! :evil:
I use the rain x and find it great, although I didn't know there were any rivals? May give the Gtechniq stuff a go once I run out, which probably won't be for a few years

I use the rain x additive that you put straight into the washer bottle, never smears and does an excellent job ! Never thought about it on the shower screens but sounds like a brilliant idea

Don,t LOL but ive been using car wax periodically on my shower screen & tiles for years , also use it on inside of house windows & glazed door,s

Me too, turtle wax is amazing for this, not sure its still on the market ive had my stock so long

Also used it on the car windows with great results...

I was all set to come on a nd rave about Gtechniq G1... THen I saw "Page 2"...
Anyway ^^THIS^^ stuff is amazing if you follow the instructions properly. Put it on in July when I got the car, still beading water off like a very beady thing, it makes clearing ice and snow off the windows easier too! 8)
Used it on my last 3 cars...never touching RainX again!
