Raining Golf Balls

Well, I have seen it all now! I was driving to work yesterday, down the lane to our village and a golf ball hit the front of my car!

Only damage is the cover on the nearside headlamp washer, which is now no more. (Could have been the headlamp)

So £35.00 later (and 2 weeks) I will have a new cover and my car will not have a black eye.

check it hasn't broken the clip the cover hangs onto cos if it has you will need a new washer pump and a bumper off job to replace...

Which having had mine replaced under the waranty last month (as i complained it wasnt flush fitting) was a £250 bill.

I did it myself - didn't realise Id saved quite that much though

I have looked at the spray head and I assume it just clips on is that right?

if it looks like this it is broken:

there should be a clip bracket attached to the hole in the top - more visible here (ignore the red circle!):

with another bracket on the other side which is what broke on mine

Well Mr Gannet, I popped it out last night (the headlamp washer that is) and guess what, the dam clip is busted!!!!!!!!! oh well.

Yup, saw this all to often in Calverley (Leeds). I would be driving down the road next to the golf course and there would be a few golf balls bouncing all over the road.
