Rain sensor trim.

For some reason my ddashcam hardwire kit is no longer getting power to the camera, all fuses and connections are ok. Was toying with the idea of using the rain sensor behind the cover in front of the rear view mirror for power. Can source the adaptor but for the life of me can't get the cover off to access the rain sensor.
Anyone know how to do this?

There is a fuse box just under steering wheel column just above where your knees go. Two bolts hold the cover on. Take them out it is now held by a lip on the on the plastic on the bulkhead. Watch out there is a air bag near by. You can see what the fuses are for on the little paper thingy in your back fuse box. I hope this helps. :|
