Well Heck,

I spent the Holiday primping the Z for the desert run and it RAINS in SO CAL today.

At least I use my Z as a daily driver so I am up late tonight in the garage repairing the spot damage to the pristine, clar barred, and polished. Rats and it looked so good.

Rain here as well. The rain has come in early and hopefully means that it will not rain Saturday.

I plan on getting wet in the AM. Palm Desert has the natural low over it. So it should be dry.

quit whining. it's supposed to be 25 F and snowing up here.

:? YIKES...that's a bit chilly for humans isn't it? It's in the high 50's here and I'm hunting for my winter coat...brrrrrrrrr. OK, I guess that qualifies as whining...sorry CAN217. Dare I ask how you stay warm up there? Or is 25 F tee shirt weather for you Canadian boys??

Speaking of rain, anyone have any leaking problems? Just noticed water was coming in from the driver side window. :(

I cleaned mine last night for the meeting also! It's been hiding in the garage all day :P
Hopefully it's dry in the morning!

Hehe - I used to travel from Utah down to Phoenix to visit my folks in the winter time when they were still around and was always amazed to feel temperatures that I hadn't experienced for months. I would break out my shorts and tshorts only to wander around watching the natives bundled up in layers of just about every piece of winter clothing they possessed because it went down into the high 40's. :D

Even after 10 years in the NW I still don't feel like its cold until we head for the teens or single digit stuff. For someone in Minnesota or Alaska that might still feel balmy but I never adapted to a world like that.

Well mine is going to be dirty. The drive from Vegas to Desert Hot Springs was caked with rain. Ah well, I'll suffer. At least i'll probably get the dirtiest car before.

DAMN I got a leak I discovered too. Off the windshield passenger side bottom area. It's a small one, only noticed it leaking at highway speeds. i've never noticed any water getting in when washing.

SoCal:

we have a couple of time tested ways to keep warm

to u guys complaining abt leaky tops:

i've also driven a '69 MGB since i was 16 (no, not since new). leaky tops, leaky windscreen, leaky doors, leaky oil pans, leaky rads, leaky... :headbang:
