Radio fascia

Hi
Bought my 2.5 e85 03 Reg a month ago and my first update is an alpine ida305s bought from this site.
I've purchased two fascia's now one was black the other one gunmetal grey. Both not the correct colour for the housing.
There's a wealth of knowledge on here that I'm asking help from.
Does anyone know the correct colour for the fascia,where I can buy it or has anyone got one for sale.
Got to say the gunmetal grey is not quite right but if I can't source the correct colour that will have to do
Tried Local BMW parts they don't do anything like this.

hi Geoff, you say not correct for the housing? do you have grey or black vents? The headunit plastic is black so it depends on what feature you want to match with, your pretty limited to the black or the grey im afraid :(
 
03 plate would be grey vents. I sprayed my grey vents black and it looks great with the black fascia :thumbsup:

Hi Jamie it's the shop/eBay fascia plates that don't match the two I've had are black and gunmetal but it's still to dark I've got the grey fascia not a problem with the radio I just thought that you could buy a fascia that's was same colour as dash.Or am I being a bit OCD here

Thanks greg81 apart from being absolutely crap at the oily bits I'm afraid painting is another beyond me however I'm good at washing and driving them well I think I am :driving:
Basically I'm useless with anything electronic mechanical I do a good job at keeping racing pigeons though that's where my abilities lie and my first hobby

Thanks that's very kind but I'm just going to use the last one I bought it's not exactly the right shade but I suppose if you can't get the correct colour that's going to be close enough

Hi Greg81 which fascia plate did you use & where did you buy it. It's by far the neatest install I've seen so think that's the 1 I'm after 👍👍

Hey this is the one I ordered. I actually ordered that because in the picture is the protruding fascia style but why they sent me was the flat one so hopefully they'd send you the same one
