Radiator light and leaks from hose?

Can someone tell me what is the part no. or name of this hose? I tried taking it out but FAILED :( I released the clip but struggled the hose to even budge. I am trying to replace :)

Looks like No. 4 to me on here to me https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BT53-USA---E85-BMW-Z4%203.0i&diagId=17_0249

I replaced my radiator today and one of the top hoses came off easier after releasing the vacuum in the system. Try unscrewing that blue bleed screw a bit then wiggle up and down while you're pulling.

What about the hose near the engine?

Do you mean the hose in your second picture? Is that not the other end of hose No. 4?

I don't know if the aftermarket hose is any good, but I've just had a quick look at the price of OEM so I would probably go aftermarket if it were me.

Also, can you tell me how put in new coolant in the system?

There are a few threads on here about bleeding the coolant system but it helps to see someone do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=TPCeuNj0_Jo&ab_channel=zed4me

Keep checking and topping up the coolant level, and checking the engine temperature isn't going above half way on the dash, and that you get hot air from the vents when you're done.

I needed to put in just over 5 litres after replacing my radiator but I think the whole system takes about 9 litres. Depends how much of it comes out when you drain it.

Good luck
