Radiator Grills

Not car related

I had a couple of radiators fitted 2 months back by a local plumbing firm, the one of which is double panel 600x2000mm which came with a convector grill that slots into the top. Unfortunately when the plumber unpacked it the grill had been crushed in 2 places :( said it happens all the time  . He straightened the grill out as best he could and fitted it and ordered a replacement that day. However that was 2 months back and I've been onto the plumbers a few times but have said the grills take an age to be delivered. Can't believe it takes months. Has anyone ever had to replace a grill and if so where did you get it from. If I knew the radiator make it would help. Had a look online but there is very little going.

Unclip it & have a better go at straightening, that looks like he was drunk when he tried it

Thanks alot, the pic doesn't show the damage very well and there is another area along the grill where the slats are crushed and twisted to one side and the paint is missing, I guess I could hammer them into shape or use some pliars to make it look better and repaint but would rather replace if I can find them online. I'm not holding much hope that I will get a replacement from the plumber as paid them now. Must be able to get spares from somewhere :?

Had similar issues with one of mine when we had the kitchen done last year. A little tweak here and there and 2 lengths of wood and clamped in a woodwork vice bought it back to new.

Cheers for that, before I attempt a repair will pop into the plumbers again and chase it up, don't feel inclined to let it go with them as I've paid them so expect the damaged part to be replaced :x
