I wonder if anybody considered this combination for mounting radar detector in their z4:

and instead of probably not very useful and/or redundant things like water temperature gauge,
stick this detector display designed for gauge housing http://www.amazon.com/Whistler-Radar-Detector-Designed-Housings/dp/B000F3C1PY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1208742395&sr=8-3
and put two and two together into supposedly perfectly looking combo, if that gauge fits, of course...
