A Z4 GT3 is a fully race modified/Prepared Z4.

Just to give you a bit of perspective, GT3 is one of the classes that run the 24 Hours Le Mans Race.

Im pretty sure this has been posted before, but for people who haven't seen it. Its a complete time lapse of a Z4 GT3 Being built. Very interesting to watch.

The GT3 is a BMW custom built Z4 race car. I don't know the price in Euros, but in dollars it is over $400,000 if you'd like to buy one! :o Yikes! Z4 Pilot
 
Awesom well done nice vid and really exciting seeing the in car view.

I saw some Z4's racing last year at Silverstone, the Z4's made by far the best sound out of the cars I saw that day, I think they had V8 engines and unless I am wrong the ones I saw were Alpina.
 
this as shut up the ragtop owners, GT3 is only a coupe, obviously the coupe is much better then :)
 
In GT racing you have different classes that you can enter your car into... GT 1, 2, 3 or 4. Each class reflects what spec of car you can run, e.g. GT1,s may have 500hp and GT4's may only run 300hp abiding to the regulations (they arn't exact figures). So... GT3 isnt z4 specific, you can have a 911 GT3 like in the vid, its just the class that it runs in.
