R.O Detailing - Epic 2014 Jaguar F-Type S

Well after weeks of communication and discussions on what the customer wanted I finally made my way to visit this lovely beast!

An initial inspection was carried out some weeks ago and a tidy up and protection was agreed upon.

The car was firstly snow foamed and washed using a brand new lambs wool mitt and two buckets with grit guards. once washed the car was then clayed to remove any bonded containments.

Once clayed and rewashed the car was then dried and I moved onto cleaning the alloys. This was done using some ValetPro Dragons Breath and a variety of brushes and microfibre cloths.

Once complete, the car was then treated to two coats of Collinite 476S - Super Doublecoat Auto Wax. all plastic trims where treated and glass treated.

The car was then cleaned inside and hoovered.

Ill let the pictures do the talking.

nice...

how do you get the snowfoam to be so goopy mines always runny.
Mine comes out like thick whipped cream, I mix about 1 part snow foam concentrate with 3 parts water, then if you have a typical snowfoam bottle/lance the thumbscrew on the top controls the air mix - play with that while foaming and you'll see the difference once you get the right amount of air

very nice, what comments did the jag owner make? was this just 1 days work?

he was absolutely chuffed to bits. putting it bluntly he has sacked his previous detailer! yep one days work!

i was using autofiness avalanche and what i think is an ok snow foam bottle i got from somewhere (looks like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/271387649272?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0on) a nilfsk presure washer ... just looks a bit like double cream rather than whipped cream if you get my drift.

anyway nice job on the x type

Same type I have - if it looks like double cream, either the mix is too concentrated or you're not getting enough air in it.

I would never have guessed it was a white car with black wheels before the clean. Great finish for sure.

I bought a wee Karcher which came with a snow lance - I use it at 90 degrees to get good (well, better) foam.
