Hi all, Doing the door speaker addition via tweeter wire as only have the 6 speaker system.

Just want to confirm I’m soldering the correct speaker wires together?

Is the blue&red wire the + and blue&brown wire the - ?

So should I solder the red wire to blue&red and black wire to blue&brown wire.

Looking here as directed by mac27040 it looks like you've got it right. The German colour idents don't quite tie up with yours but GE/BR (?/brown, tweeter front left) & BL/BR (blue/brown, tweeter front right) indicates the wire with the brown stripe is -ve.

Thanks very much guys, this site and your advice is invaluable,

To be fair the speaker sounds good, I just wanted to confirm before I start on the other door.

So, I'm doing my speakers as well. And my colouring is different? The below pic is from TIS, and it's for a RHD E86. It shows the RHS to be blue wires, but on my car, the wires that feed the tweeter are yellow? I'm absolutely clear on this, but it seems a bit weird? Also, the wires that feed the RHS woofer are indeed blue, yet there are blue/red & blue/brown wires coming into the door that seem to go nowhere?
