quick NAV upgrade query

hi - the M has a Prof Hav system. Thought I ought to upgrade....

DVD is 06-1 and Nav OS is 4-1/60

Went down to dealer today he'll "sawp" old NAV DVD for £99 to latest version .... but what about computer OS - does that also have to be upgraded.... the young man, kid you not, did not exude confidence - said latest DVD will also upgrade system...?

pulling my chain or what....?

maybe I just get him to do the install and stand over his shoulder and shout at him as appropriate

though better to be forearmed...

Latest DVD doesn't upgrade it, check www.x5world.com for all the info you need

Just make sure you burn it at 1x speed or there will be trouble, I have been there.

Where did you find the V32 software? What I see is 29.1 is the latest!

to be honest wasted 2-3 hours today... searching for stuff found something on x3 forum IIRC - then had to go out and get some blank cds - then house computer started fannying about - kids have it trashed eventually burned a disk - nav system didn't recognise it - so moved to my macbook burned the iso afresh and nav system didn't recognise it again .... so bollox to all of that - life is too short - I'l harass dealer tomorrow when I get 08 map dvd.
