Quick Lap of the Ring in the MC

Great driving Flatout...very impressed! That's great quality from an iPhone, what type/make mount did you use?

Great vid and the M sounded great as for the expleted deletives i was filling them in as i was saying the same.

Fair play for driving the M like it's meant to be driven. I have to say I don't think I have either the talent, or the nerves to take #69 on the ring...

Spent 4 days at the ring last week - was really impressed with the number of coupes on the day. Quite a few were actually ring racing rentals (albeit 3.0's), but also some M's with full roll cages and fully stripped out :driving: ...

Anyway, here's a vid of one of my laps...... The hawk eyes on my notice a few flat spots which actually turned out to be a loose wire mesh inside my Gruppe M filter as diagnosed by Sixspeed  (sadly on the way back)...

Nice clip mate, post more if you have them.

Good lines and video. Used to live an hour away and boy I miss that place!

what tyres and brake pads/discs are you using?

Enjoyed that, reminds me of my time there, swearing and a few waved flags. Lol
Can't help thinking, its just a matter of times before I binned it at the ring with more laps I did.
As you get faster, lumps and bumps starts to be more apparent and your heading into corners faster with less margin for errors or put on the wrong side of the track by other drivers when you really want to straight line the corners as much as possible.

Was there a mount? I looked more that someone was holding the phone  Some nice driving...!

Thanks for all the replys....

I don't have an iphone mount at the moment, so used Velcro and mounted onto the sun visor. It worked just fine as the app automatically starts and stops recording when you go past the gps points. Agree the more laps you do the more you're confidence builds and ultimately margin of error reduces.

Not brave enough to drive with TC off especially at the ring, there are simply way too many undulations not to mention the magnetic Armco barriers which seem like only less than 3m either side.. :(.

All said and done, still looking forward to heading back, I'm thinking of the end of June weekender..
