Questions about my car (with photos)?

Finally took some photos of the car, and though I'd use the opportunity to ask some questions.

1) Should there be anything in this tray at the front of the fuse box? It looks as if the indentations are there to store spare fuses (and a fuse removal tool), but there's nothing in mine - although there is a small bag of fuses in the tool kit.

2) Is my tool kit complete? (I also have a warning triangle in a blue plastic case at the back of the boot).

3) Is this small sticker meant to be on the bottom of the cupholder, or should it have been removed before using it? (I bought a pair of cupholders - in the hope that they would provide somewhere to put my mobile! - and one has this sticker while the other doesn't).

4) Is this threaded hole next to the latch on the underside of the bonnet used for anything?

5) I noticed some surface corrosion on some of the fasteners in the engine bay. Do I need to worry about any of them?

The car comes to the end of its AUC warranty in a couple of weeks time (although I'll probably buy the extended warranty). It is being MoT'd by my local dealer next week, so I want to make sure that any problems that are covered under AUC are dealt with before it expires ...

Many thanks for any responses.

1) spare fuses iirc.

Not sure about the rust. The bonnet catch is certainly worth keeping well lubricated with WD40 as they can be troublesome.

How old is your car? Mine's an 04 and has no rust. Worth meantioning to the dealer I'd have thought.

Toolkit looks complete

The sticker on the cup holder doesn't look like it does anything - if it were me I'd take it off.

No idea about the threaded hole in the bonnet, and the car is tucked up for the night, sorry

I guess corrosion is normal on parts that get wet and have perhaps lost the coating if they have been removed or scraped... Mine are not corroded, but some of the have been replaced. I'd keep the latch lubricated / protected as above. Not sure about the rust on the bolt at the top of the suspension - might be worth asking about, or someone on here will have an opinion more informed than me.

Tool kit is indeed complete.
The light corrosion on the strut-top bolt is nothing to be concerned about. There should be a cover on there, though.
The bonnet latch needs a good clean-up and light lube.
The lower steel bonnet latch plate with the corrosion - pretty normal. All the fastenings are available to replace from BMW for little expense if they concern you. They all corrode in that exposed area.
The corroded pulley thread is normal. Routinely put some WD40 on it if you're worried, but it'll just fly off when the engine next spins. Whatever you do, don't paint it!
Picture 4 - those holes are where the bonnet latch is on mine :o
