Question after relocating roof motor

I Successfully moved the roof motor to the boot without removing the roof, following some of the great guides on here.

Three of the hydraulic hoses are plenty long enough but the one that goes to the top of the Left hand actuator is barely long enough. This means that it is stretched causing a small bend radius where it’s fixed with a cable tie under the coupling. I could remove the cable tie to release another cm of hose but that would then put strain on the coupling itself. Not seen anything about this in any of the guides so interested in experience from others who have done this mod.

I only noticed this when I pushed my phone into the hole where the motor used to be to photograph what was down there. If I hadn’t done this I’d be in blissful ignorance of a potential new problem!

Is this something to worry about or normal?
 
If you have followed the guide on zroadster I am assuming that you have the top of the motor/pump angled towards the rear of the car, when I did mine I angled it forwards which gave more than enough hose length. You also cut both cable ties that run along the top of the wing?
 
I’ve mounted the motor with the top pointing towards the front as well. There’s not enough length in the short hose to point the other way.

I’ve removed all the cable ties on the hoses and cables that run round the wing, it’s the one that goes directly to the top of the mechanism right next to where the pump used to be that Seems a bit short.
 
other option, as stated place 45 degrees in the recess part of the boot (behind where it was housed). Cut two small slits in the wall of the carpet lining and you can feed a couple of cable ties to secure it ....
