Hi guys,
Just joined after buying a lovely Z4 (piccies when the storms have passed
) and there are a few starter questions that I woldnt mind getting your input on if you dont mind.
1. There is a fantastic thread on here about retro-fitting a MFSW and it is definitely something that I am going to do but I just wanted to check - does the original airbag fit the new MFSW? I have the standard three spoke wheel with the silver spokes
and would be fitting the wheel in this thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=16422.
2. The second question is about the manual roof release button on the rear console. When I press mine it just sinks into the console and its a bugger to get to come back up to sit flush. This cant be right. I notice that when I press it down there is a bit of metal (like the end of a spring) visible at the back of the button. Question is - should this "spring" not be UNDER the button so that is actually does something when pressed? If the answer is YES - how do I go about doing that
Thanks Guys
