Query Z4 phone holder

Iwant to fit a way of holding my nokia 6310i in my roadster but don t have any phone prep. I m not worried about wiring to an aerial/loom/charging/bluetooth and all that. Just want something to hold it rather than the glovebox/door pocket or oddmdnts bins. I see you can get a snap in connector on Ebay but presumably this is only if you had the phone kit in the first place (where does it go on a z4 anyway ?) Anyone had any ideas or dealings with this dilema

I'm interested in this as well. Is it something that once stuck is easy to remove without leaving marks or is it a permanent feature? Do you have a link to the holder you have at all, I've seen this but not sure if it is what I need for my iphone...

The holder shouldnt leave any marks if removed. The easiest way to fit is to remove the radio (got that vent out yet flimper ) you can then undo two screws that hold the dash trim in place which makes it a lot easier to install. The bottom part of the bracket hooks into the recess of the removal panel under the AC controls.

It is possible to install without removing the radio which is how I first did it, but after changing the dash trim I think it is worth the little effort as if you do have CF leather or Piano Gloss there is less likely to be any damage.

I can take some better pics if required when I get my car back from the dealer (next week )

I just put mine in the hole behind the handbrake (where the assist buttons are if you have them)...

I'd quite like to have it close by, as I usually have the ipod on shuffle and need to flick songs quite regularly (when safe to do so obviously).
