PS3 or XBox?

Thinking of buying a games console, question is which one?

Second question, what is the best shoot em up game and best driving game?

I would say XBox. Both on a par graphically. Xbox's growing media capabilities, Kinect and superior online gaming pushes it to the fore.

Oh ..... And Forza 4 is a superb driving sim.

OK. IMHO X-Box. Yes you pay for online gaming with XBox Live, but it's a good reliable service. Forza is excellent for driving games. The only downside is the PS3 has a Blu-Ray and Gran Turismo 5 is reckoned by many to be the Korean Meatballs. The best shoot em ups are available on both platforms (I think). Call of Duty and Battlefield both have their followers.

I like my PS3. I would say however. The two boxes are pretty even. I can't imagine being disappointed with either. Most of the good games are made for both. I picked the PS3 because at the time it came out. It was in fact the best and fastest loading blue ray player available. As a certified old person. I don't do a whole bunch of gaming. But GT5 is a good game. I also like motor storm pacific rim? Burnout Paradise is great for blasting around roads and through things, and pure ATV.

Got both. No contest. Since 'my son' got his Xbox I can count the number of times the PS3 has been switched on without running out of fingers - all to Play Blue Ray. The fact that my son bought a second PS3 version of MW2 to play with a mate online who does not have an Xbox doesn't count, and it lasted all of 3 weeks. Love the Xbox - you'd have to prise it out of his (and my) cold dead hands to get it out of our house.

Roadster, PS3, I-pad, And I despise cell phones as when I was 3 minutes old the doctor cut the cord. I wish not to reattach it. But the wife does take a prepay when we are outside of Deutschland.

M Coupe, PS3 and Sony Play Android

I know this used to be a problem, but I am not sure now... We've had our Xbox360 for over a year now and the biggest issues I've had are my son having losing it in my living room with 'noobs' and 'campers' online in Modern Warfare, and of course getting the little bu66er off it so I can play my games...

He's also recently decided Forza 4 - which I got for Christmas - is fantastic after years of hating racing games... And now he's a higher driver level than me which is really pi$$ing me off :x Considering sending him off to do my job during the week so I can catch up

Have both...the PS3 is hardly ever on.
After 5 years of playing Battlefield 2: Modern Combat online,am now into Battlefield 3. Awesome online gameplay.
