Protective Coat on Top Tray?

Hey all

The top tray in the boot of my 05 2.5i has some discoloration and/or some light staining on it. Any recommendations for restoring the surface?

Somebody recommended cleaning the tray thoroughly, then applying 303 and buffing it out. Any thoughts about this or a better way?

That tray is getting a lot of sun all the time, esp here in Los Angeles. UV rays can damage it over time.

Thanks!

You can remove it, clean it, and repaint it with SEM Trim black. I've had good luck with this paint.

OK, great - I'll check it out!

Do I need to remove the coating or can I just spray over it once prepared?

Thanks!
