Hopefully a simple question, but I bet I will get all sorts of answers
About to renew wife's car insurance and they have stated 5 years NCD. Now back in 2009 it was 6 years and it's been protected all the way through so in my mind it should be 9 years now even though she made two claims in 09 and 11.
Now I'm aware some companies only offer 5 years hence why I believe her current insurance company are stating that. But put 5 years in on a comparrison site and the quotes are higher than if you put 9 years in.
It's my belief that as long as I have a paper trail with all the NCD's listed I can quote 9 years.
What do you all say?
