As an example, the following:
- 10 years no claim = 70% with insurance company A
- accident claimed 2 years ago, % stays at 70% with insurance company A as was protected
Renewal with company B
- Asked when last claim was (2 years ago)
- Asked how many years NCD (not whether protected or not ?)
- They calculate that with 10 years no claim and an accident 2 years ago, with company B the discount is 50% (they are not interested in protection or not - nobody ever asked me about that, just the number of years and any accidents or not).
Does that make sense what I am trying to work out?
