Prof NAV OS

OK - had a thread earlier about upgrading - done the £99 deal and have 08-2 European DVD nav disk - works fine.

But my-oh-my dealer seems to know chuff all - absolutely no help with getting upgrade to NAV OS (which is 4-1/60). Parts guy helpfull but no use. Service bods just nice young guys in suits smiles on faces - nobody at home.....

The only suggestion is that I need to check car in and get FULL electronic diagnostic and check if upgrade is possible......

Apparently nobody has ever come in and asked for a OS upgrade - when I pointed out that this is probably a quarterley event with a stand alone syetem (even the Tom-Toms they shift over the counter) there was a flicker of oh yeah he might be talking sense....and that the BMW system might just be updated from time to time ....

So, can anybody help me out point me directy to link of file where I can get the current OS?

I assume you have a MKIV sat nav system?

From my own experience I'd skip v31 upgrade. The upload was successful but the sat nav kept freezing randomly on me. Downgrading to v29.1 resolved the issue so I know the Map disc wasn't the issue.

I also see v32 has been released as a bug fix and also includes 7 digit postcode lookups.. I'd give it a shot be I can't see it floating around anywhere at the mo.
