Production numbers

I am sure I saw a post with production numbers for 35is etc per year, but I cannot find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction...

Thanks

And if you are too lazy to search :)

The 35iS is gonna make the Z4M look like a fiesta in terms of exclusivity ;) :D

Surely there isnt just over 300 sold ?

And how not? If the figures are correct only in the past year have sales taken off due to the discounts. The E89 isn't a 'popular' car and at the price the 35is was prior to discounts and still now it's not a popular choice, especially when 18i & 20i's have been churned out and available very cheaply, usually in white and for about £200 odd a month.

According to the site they use the DVLA data so I would think it is as correct as could be.

No thats fair enough...

Just seemed a very low figure......I did realise that there wasnt many about,as there is never really any for sale.

I know why now...

Hmmmmm......... may need to hold on to mine then, was thinking of getting an M4 at the end my 3 year contract but now may change my mind....

Very interesting!

Are the numbers on Howmanyleft.com indicating the number of *new* vehicles each year or the *total* number which have been taxed?

I'm getting a used sdrive35i on Friday - had no idea there were only 241 manuals!

The numbers are the total on the roads so you are given the total number of cars taxed and on the road and also the number off the road and SORN so you need to add the two together to get the full picture of how many cars there are.

When I got mines there was only 196 in total in the UK but it's climbed steeply since May last year.

Re the figures, when the 35is launched you could have got a R35 GTR for just a little bit more cash or if you were adding quite a few extras you could of had a very well spec'd R35 and have change! Looking at what else was avalible performance wise and has been over the past few years at the same pricing point, I can see why it maybe hasn't sold too well. Especially when it's not as practical as some other cars out there.

But then you don't buy a Z4 for practicality!

Huge boot and two generous seats, dunno what you mean :D

JC :D

Ironically the first thing I ever did when looking at the E89 was look at the size of boot! Then I totally disregarded it because the car had the roof down and I thought can't get my tent in there

Then I bought one 4 years later, completely disregarding that and it turns out it does fit and the roof can go down too.

To be honest after starting my driving life in a BMW mini which had the boot the size of a shoe box, anything bigger gets a thumbs up in my book.

I don't even want to know what your doing with those 'generous' seats :P
