problem with my centre vents?!

I have removed my centre vents before on many occasions, but since changing them to the facelift colours, this would be the 1st time and they won't budge.
is there any difference between the 2? I mean pre and post facelift? I have done all the usual things and they look like to be stuck?!

no they are identical, just tight fit

I guess you employed the petach method at some point this time.

does anybody know what happens if you fit a centre vent with no metal tabs? it's not like that it is going to jump out of the dash, is it? and when you want to remove it, just pull it out, right?

On my old car after fitting the cfl dash the centre vents never clipped in, so it was just a case of puling to get them out. I think if you took the clips off though it might be to lose.
