Just had the new Linkin Park CD "Living Things" drop through the letter box. Enjoying it a lot so far...

"A Thousand Suns" was a work of genius and the track "When they come for me" about sums up my feelings when I have a Chav Chariot up the chuff. Listen to that one to see what I mean. (Warning - It's a bit sweary if you have kids)

Hope it's better than the last one Stuart. I really liked there first few but the last one, which was an attempt to do something different, was pants IMO.

Is this back to a much rockier/metal sound again?

Have a listen on Amazon or iTunes preview. It's more classic Linkin Park than A Thousand Suns (the last one) but I love that album too.

Like a wee bit of linkin park myself, but last one i bought was Meteora a few years ago
Might give this a go if its a return to form

Thanks for reminding me. Meant to buy both this and the new Offspring album. Never too old ;)

I like the first few albums, they were very good live too  not heard and of the last albums, will itunes it see what its like

It's called Days Gone By. There is a new video out which would totally put me off buying it, but I don't usually like the ones they release as singles much

Talking of never being too old, just re-discovered Marilyn Manson after the excellent Citroën DS5 advert..... great album (The Golden Age Of Grotesque), been listening to it all week

I'll give it a go ! Went to see them in Glasgow about 4 years ago wth a few friends they were great live
Unfortunately we were the oldest there including the band :headbang:

Got it the other day but never had a chance to listen to it yet. New Smashing Pumpkins album just out too.

I've got eclectic tastes in music. The iPod has everything from Opera to Metal, from Abba to Electro and Trance music :)

Current top listens are PJ Harvey, Bombay Bicycle Club, Linkin Park and Foster the People. Had a bit of Biffy Clyro on during the trip home this evening.

If we are all into such good music maybe we should be showing up at Silverstone in tour t shirts ;)

Biggest clue to you being too old...'CD just dropped through the letterbox' ;-)

BTW I doubt I'm any / much younger :-)
