Having traded in my ///MC, I have the registration plate for sale on a Retention Certificate.
Looks good on a Zed and suitable if your car was registered after 1st March 2007.
I'm looking for £150 which includes the £80 assignment fee that has already been paid, so saving £100 on the price of any personalised plate from DVLA or anywhere else as far as I know.
Happy to accept PayPal for you to be covered under their Buyer Protection scheme or by Bank Transfer.
As I understand it, once I have been paid I enter your current vehicle registration number and validation character from your V5C and sign Section 1 of the V778 as the Grantee. Additionally I fill in the First Name and Surname of the Nominee (you) in Section 2, sign Section 6 and post it directly to DVLA. They then issue the new V5C plus the paperwork to enable plates to be purchased directly to the registered keeper of the vehicle that was nominated for the transfer (you) at no additional cost.
Please PM or mail me if interested.
