OK, OK, you show off’s with your fancy CSL’s have forced me to finally go the same (although cheaper) route

After a few posts about BM Auto Sport I had a look at what they have on offer in terms of 19” replica CSL’s and came across this set

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/product_info.php/new-spoke-alloys-hyper-silver-with-deeper-concave-et45-rearrare-fitment-p-3608?cPath=51_27_134_46

Before I jump head first has anyone had any issues with BM Auto Sport, or bad experiences with replica wheels?

Thanks in advance!
Richard

I got my LM Reps from Mark at BMAutosport, top guy, knows his stuff and great reps. I think most of us on here have had good experiences with him.

Go for LMs :D

I am sure they will look great whatever you choose!

Make sure you get a price comparison from CM wheels, he was superb with me, communicated via text and gave me lots of detail.

He also does "hyper black" which despite not being a CSL OEM colour, look simply superb. They're basically a chrome finish with black lacquer sprayed over.

If you buy the tyre package with the wheels, do the tyres come fitted? Or do you have to get a garage to fit for you at additional cost?

the tyres come fitted and balanced - although I will still need to get a four wheel alignment I guess

I changed my mind from CSLs to 313s, whats wrong with your wheels now Ranski their nice!!! :o

just fancy a change, had the M alloys for a couple of years so just going for a different look now

I have reps, don't even know the actual brand (bought them second hand) and no trouble so far. Always had reps in the past, it's just not worth the money for me. Never had any trouble in the past either.

Mark is a great guy and i have always had great service from him..

But as mentioned Chris at CMwheels seem to be a fair bit cheaper for the same product, thats why i have bought my last 2 sets off him.

I had a set of e92 m3 reps. Brought them second hand cracked! I didn't weld them correctly I have found out so they split again. But knowing metal they where good quality aluminum

I don't see a problem with reps. I only have original e46 wheels now because they came up on eBay local and cheap.

Get them

I had 2 sets of RS4 reps on my old TT both sets eventually buckled! (they were made in Italy) eventually went back to OEM

The other way around: has anyone had any bad experiences with OEM? You should always look at it both ways.
I have some OEM 108's laying around, refurbed at some point but started oxidising again...

I got the csl reps from bm autosport and they were fine. only problem was tyre fitment didn't allow that many brands of tyres as I was unsure of the clearance.

I went for cheaper tyres to ensure minimum rubbage without too much cash commitment, wheels and service were as good as i'd hoped, they look more £££ than they were.

Personally on a non M i think replica with a proper offset is the best option.

As long as you dont get that shite looking polished face which will tarnish overnight.... Replica's will be fine... Prob a bit heavier though.

Also with 19's get some decent rubber with some rim protection (eagle f1's, supersport, vreds etc)

Worth speaking to Chris at CM Wheels before you push the button. Excellent service and a bit cheaper than BM Autosport

Hi guys

Thanks for the feedback – focusing on cmwheels I have picked out the below CSL rep’s

However I’m now debating what ET / Offset to go for. I currently have the M alloys and do like the way the rear wheels protrude out, anyone know which one would match this on the non Z4M?

Use an offset calculator mate.

Put in the current offset and size of your //M wheels, then put in the figures of the csl reps, you'll see which are close.

If you phone (or even text) CM wheels they are incredibly helpful, can source ANY tyres you want etc. Cracking.

Mark's customer service and advice are second to none IMHO - have bought three sets of wheels and tyres from him over the years, and he has alway done me a great deal and fitted them too
